EcoWorld International Environmental Award

Diploma of the 1st degree winner of the International Ecological Award ‘EcoWorld’ of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences with the presentation of the Honorary Badge ‘For Merit’ in the nomination ECOLOGICAL EDUCATION, ENLIGHTENMENT AND CULTURE is awarded to ANDREY VLADIMIROVICH REZOV for his active work with the ‘ZOOGALAXY Foundation for the Educational and Cognitive Development of Children and Adults’ and for creating the educational mobile digital ‘ZOOGALAXY Ecosystem’ for Android and iOS.

Today is a special and very personal day for me.

I was awarded the Diploma of the 1st degree of the EcoWorld International Environmental Award with the presentation of the Honorary Badge ‘For Merit’ in the nomination ‘Environmental Education, Enlightenment and Culture’» .

This award was presented by the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences for the many years of work carried out by the ZOOGALAXY Foundation for the Educational and Cognitive Development of Children and Adults and for the creation of the ZOOGALAXY educational mobile digital ecosystem for Android and iOS.

For me, this is not just recognition of the project.

It is recognition of the journey itself.

A journey that began in 2012 with an internet portal about the animal world — at a time when I already felt acutely that:

knowledge about nature was increasing, but living, human understanding was decreasing.

Over the years, ZOOGALAXY has grown into a mobile ecosystem for Android and iOS that helps people follow a continuous path:

from their first emotional encounter with the living world —

to a systematic understanding of biodiversity —

and further to real actions to preserve nature.

It was fundamentally important to me that this path be accessible:

• to children — from their very first steps,
• to teenagers — through systematic knowledge,
• to adults — through conscious participation,
• to people with intellectual disabilities — through a calm, respectful and humane environment for learning about the animal world.

I particularly appreciate that the EcoWorld award recognised environmental education and culture — not as abstract concepts, but as living, practical work that truly influences how people begin to feel, perceive and protect nature.

This award is not an end point.

It is confirmation that the chosen direction is correct.

I am grateful to everyone who has been with me on this journey.

And especially to nature, which reminds us every day why we are doing all this.
