Alpine hare
An Alpine hare lives in the forest. It is a small animal. It runs very fast.
In spring, the Alpine hare changes its winter fur for a summer fur, and in autumn, back for the winter one. In winter, the hare wool is thick and fluffy, and no hard frost can frighten the animal. Its fur is snow-white but the ear ends are black, that is why the hare can be hardly seen on the snow. In summer the hare is gray or reddish, this makes it convenient to better hide in the forest.
The hare's ears are long to allow it to hear well. The hare is cunning, when it runs it always hides its traces to prevent that somebody could catch and eat it. The hare does not hunt, it eats only grass, roots and bark of trees.
