Reindeer
A reindeer is an inhabitant of the North where it is very cold. It is not afraid of any heavy frosts or of deep snow. Its fur is thick and soft that is why the fur protects well the reindeers against cold even in the case of strong winds. And what is more, the reindeers have particular hoofs. They are wide and can move apart which enables the reindeer to walk on snow or bogs without sinking. And the hoof edges are strong and sharp. With them, the reindeer digs out the snow and rakes it apart to get to its preferred tasty moss.
The main decoration of reindeers is their big branched horns. They exist not only in the deer male but in the females too. Deer females need the horns for repelling other reindeers from a found food. Every year, the reindeers loose their old horns, and new ones grow up later.
In winter, the reindeers pull sleighs to transport people and loads on large fields.
