Edible frog

Edible frogs live in rivers, lakes, ponds and bogs surrounded by forests.

These frogs are bright green. A clear band passes on their back. Frogs feed on insects. In winter, the frogs sleep on the bottom of rivers, lakes, ponds and bogs. In spring, they wake up and start croaking.

The frog females lay eggs in water. There are a lot of eggs. First, they give tadpoles in which legs develop, then the tail falls off and they are converted into young frogs.
