Hornbills

Hornbills have this name for their huge beaks.

The hornbills live in hot tropical forests and build nests in hollows of high trees.

As soon as the hornbill female lays eggs, the hornbill male putties the hollow with clay while leaving just a small hole. Through this hole, he feeds the hornbill female. She hatches the eggs while the hornbill male brings her food constantly and supplies the food through the aperture. The process continues as well after appearance of fledglings from the eggs. When they grow up, the hornbill father demolishes the clay wall and sets free his family outside.
