Elephant

Elephant is the biggest animal living on the land. It has a great height and is very heavy, though it eats only vegetal food such as leaves and branches of trees, grass and fruits.

. But the most surprising part of the elephant is its trunk. It is very movable and unusually powerful. For elephants, the trunk is even more than a hand for a man. With it, the elephant can tear off grass and branches, drag heavy logs of wood and pick a small stone from the ground. An adult elephant can pick with the trunk a high volume of water and transfer it into the mouth as a drink or pour it on itself like with a shower. The trunk is at the same time a weapon for defense or for attack. The elephant is so powerful that it has no enemies in the nature, no one has the courage to attack it.

Elephants like bathing very much and swim well.
