Kiang

A kiang is a big wild ass.

Kiang mothers and their cubs of different ages live together. Kiang fathers live alone in summer. The kiangs know very well all the members of their family and remember each other for the whole life. A kiang mother brings forth one cub. After birth, it can already follow its mother everywhere.

When looking for food, kiangs walk at long distances, getting over rivers and other ponds. They swim well and run fast, without getting tired.
