Cockatoo parrot

Cockatoo is a charming, unusually beautiful and clever parrot. It can be distinguished from other parrots by a crest on its head. The cockatoo feathers are colored in most various colors: white, yellow, red, pink and even black. But the cockatoos are never blue or green.

A cockatoo has a big, long crooked beak like a little scoop. It is very strong and vigorous. Cockatoos fly rather well and they climb trees even better. They clutch at tree branches with dexterity not only with the legs but with the beak.

The cockatoos live in hot tropical countries, in forests.
