Dog
A long time ago, when there were no cars, computers, or many other things outdoors, there were wild animals. One of those animals was the wolf. And so, humans and wolves started to become friends. Since then, wolves began to change and became more and more like dogs. Dogs became our faithful friends and helpers. They guarded our homes from wild animals, helped us on the hunt and were just there for us when we were sad.
Variety of breeds
There are many different breeds of dogs: small, like Chihuahua, and huge, like St Bernard. But they all adore their owners and would do anything for them.
Dogs are not only our friends, but also real helpers. There are dogs that work on the borders, helping to protect our country. They can find things that are invisible to the human eye, thanks to their incredible sniff.
Some dogs save people! If someone is lost in the woods or in the mountains, a rescue dog can find that person faster than anyone else.
What dogs like to do
Dogs love to play games! They can play ball, chase a stick or just drag their favourite toy back and forth. In addition, dogs love the outdoors.
Dog language
Dogs have their own way of communicating. They may bark out of joy or when they want to say something. They also express their feelings through their tail: if it is wagged, the dog is happy!
Developed feelings
Have you ever seen a dog run? It can run so fast that sometimes it feels like it's flying! Also, dogs can jump so high like a real kangaroo!
Dogs have something that humans don't have - their sharp teeth. These teeth help them chew through hard bones. It's like superheroes - everyone has their own superpowers!
But that's not all! The dog has an incredible sense of smell. He can smell something interesting even from a great distance. And a dog also has such great hearing that they can hear sounds that we don't even notice. And, of course, they have good eyesight. They can see things, even in the dark.
How to care for a dog
A dog needs a lot of love and attention. They want to be fed, walked and played with. Dogs are loyal and devoted friends who are always happy to be near us and give us their boundless love.
