Llama Lama glama
The Indians domesticated guanacos in Peru five-seven thousand years ago, and before the European conquest, the llamas were the only mean of transportation for local people. Native people weaved blankets and made strings of the llama wool, sewn sandals of their skins, used llama’s meat for food, and fat, for candles. Llamas are still used as irreplaceable pack animals: they are the only ones who can travel on the mountain paths with the load of 50 or 60 kilograms.
